I have posted about the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 a lot, and it is one of my favourite phones of the past year, and it will continue to be a great phone this year.
Xiaomi have been very proactive keeping it up to date introducing new features such as 960 fps video recording.
It is comfortably the most affordable Snapdragon 845 phone on the market currently costing £239.40 on GearBest and £275.00 on Amazon for the 64GB and 6GB model.

DXOMark is a popular camera benchmarking website, the accuracy of its results is often questionable, but it is always useful for a rough idea of how well a camera will perform.
The Pocophone F1 achieved a total score of 91 in the results putting it ahead of the original Google Pixel and just being the Apple iPhone 8. A couple of years ago this would have been close to top of the charts, but the past year or so has seen a huge improvement in the quality of cameras. Notably Huawei have achieved great success in this regard, with the Huawei Mate 20 Pro and P20 Pro sitting at the top of the charts.
The score the Pocophone F1 is very impressive and the most affordable phone with a 90+ score.
The score is broken down into two sub-scores of 92 for photo and 90 for video. These are then broken down further into individual aspects of photography performance such as colour, exposure and autofocus. The phone scores particularly well on autofocus and it is the zoom that drops the average down. The phone also has relatively poor low light performance.
The specification of the rear camera is a 12 MP, f/1.9, 1/2.55″, 1.4µm, dual pixel PDAF lens combined with a 5 MP, f/2.0, 1.12µm, depth sensor lens.
Overall though this is more proof that the Pocophone F1 is exceptional value for money.
