Following my review of the excellent TP-Link M7450 4G router, I have been asked to give away my sample.

This is a small mobile router that you put a SIM into and it creates a Wi-Fi network for all your devices wherever you are. If you travel a lot, in particular for work this little devices are amazing and will save you all sorts of hassle from trying to deal with hotel or free Wi-Fi hotspots.

Using this will save killing your battery trying to use your phone as a hotspot and it is something I will be investing in for my personal use.

This is their middle of the range model and currently costs £125 on Amazon and it then supports up to 300 Mbps download speed.

Many PAYG Sim only deals allow you to tether your phone, so these should all work with the router, or alternatively, a data SIM will work too. During my testing, I used my Voxi SIM card, but you can pick up data sims from Amazon as and when you need them.

Three has a 12GB SIM for £30 which lasts 12 months, alternatively, EE has a 6G SIM which lasts 90 days.

The M7450 is also equipped with a micro SD card slot for up to 32 GB of optional storage, easily share photos, music, videos and more wirelessly across your network.

With the tpMiFi App, you can easily access and manage the M7450 from your connected iOS/Android devices which allows you to establish data limits, control which devices can access your Wi-Fi and send messages.
