Ugreen has announced its latest charger, the Nexode 100W GaN Charging Station, featuring a 15W MagSafe Pad.
I have reviewed a few wireless charging stations over the years. Originally with the Choetech MFi Apple Watch Wireless Charger and more recently with the STM Goods ChargeTree Go.
This charge station is relatively unique as it has two USB-C ports, which can do 100W per port and 100W total output, for example, 65W+35W. This makes this charge station a good solution for an office desktop, allowing you to charge your iPhone and laptop at the same time.
The 100W power delivery output should be suitable for the vast majority of laptops. It is only the 16-inch MacBook Pro that requires up to 140W.

Cutting-Edge yet Compact
The Nexode 100W GaN Charging Station stands out for its blend of advanced charging capabilities and sleek form factor. Measuring a mere 92 x 60 x 60 mm, this charging station is not only compact but also flexible, offering two USB-C ports and one USB-A port. It can simultaneously charge up to four devices—making it a robust yet space-saving addition to your tech arsenal.
All About GaN and MagSafe Technology
The station utilises GaN (Gallium Nitride) technology, a material that enables efficient energy conversion. This helps the device achieve a 100W output without overheating. The MagSafe pad that crowns this compact cube integrates the latest 15W MagSafe charging standard, and it’s fully compatible with a range of iPhone models—from the iPhone 12 right up to the future iPhone 15.
Multi-Angle MagSafe Pad with a Twist
One of the most unique features of the Nexode 100W is the MagSafe pad’s hinged design, allowing it to double as a convenient stand for MagSafe-compatible phones. With a 65° freedom of folding and strong magnetic attraction, your phone can rotate a full 360°. This facilitates hands-free video watching or video conferencing, all while your device continues to charge.
Performance and Compatibility
When it comes to performance, the Nexode 100W doesn’t disappoint. Its three USB ports share a total output of 100W, making it versatile enough to charge anything from a MacBook Pro M2 to an Apple Watch or an iPad. To give you an idea of its efficiency, it can charge a MacBook Pro M2 from 0% to 51% in as little as 30 minutes.
Safety Features and Intelligent Temperature Monitoring
Equipped with GaN II technology, the Nexode 100W also boasts a Thermal Guard System that measures temperature in real time, 800 times per second. Alongside its Power Dispenser System, which smartly adjusts power output, the device takes multiple steps to ensure that your gadgets are charged in a safe and efficient manner.
