There are some fantastic deals to be had this Cyber Monday if you are looking for a new laptop as a gift this Christmas or perhaps because you now work it home.
Acer Deals
- Acer 715 15.6″ Chromebook for £329 saving £170 including a mouse and case – this is a decent Chromebook, perfect for students or someone looking for an affordable laptop at home. Chrome OS is more lightweight than Windows, so it will run better, while it can’t run Windows apps, it can run Android apps.
- Acer Swift 3 13.5″ Laptop for £699 saving £100 – The Swift 3 offers a perfect balance of portability, affordability and power. This has one of the latest Intel i5-1035G4 CPUs combined with 8GB RAM and 512GB storage so plenty of processing power for everything but serious gaming. The 13.5″ display and 1.2 kg make it the perfect commuters laptop.
- ACER Predator Triton 300 15.6″ Gaming Laptop (RTX 2070) for £1299 saving £200 – With GeForce RTX 2070 MaxQ, Intel i7-10750H, 16GB RAM, 1TB SSD, and a 144 Hz display. I reviewed the Triton 300 in August and found it to be the best-priced option based on this spec for any gaming laptop
- ACER Predator Triton 300 15.6″ Gaming Laptop (GTX 1660 Ti) for £999 saving £200 – a step down from the above laptop, this uses the more affordable GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6 GB and has 8GB of RAM and 512GB SSD.
- Acer Predator Triton 500 from £1,798.99 with £200 off – Two deals on Scan one with the RTX 2070 SUPER and the other with the RTX 2080, both have 300Hz FHD displays with an Intel i7 10750H for serious gamers
Huawei Deals
- Huawei MateBook 13 2020 from £499 – Two deals, same spec except for the storage. I have the Intel version of the MateBook 13, and it is awesome. This uses the AMD Ryzen 5 3500U and at under £500 I think you would be hard-pressed to find a better ultrabook.
- Huawei MateBook D 14 for £489.99 – Similar spec to the above but a larger laptop
HP
- HP Chromebook X360 for £399 – Slightly lower spec than the Acer Chromebook but with a 360 display to convert it into a tablet
- HP 14-cf2503sa 14″ laptop for £419 – This could do with a bit more RAM, but the optane memory will help and at this price it is a great buy.
- HP 14a 14″ Chromebook for £249.00 – Chrome OS will make the most of the meagre specs, this is a good option for someone wanting an affordable laptop for general office type work and web browsing.
Asus
- ASUS VivoBook M413DA for £476.10 – You need to use the code ASUS10 at checkout this is better specced and priced than the two Huawei laptops but it is bigger and heavier than the MateBook 13

- MSI GF63 GTX 1650Ti for £849.99 – A similar spec to the Acer Triton 300 deal but dropping the GPU down to 1650Ti and less storage but saving you £150
