Following on from o2's recently announced "unlimited" plans (which confused us so much we didn't run the story), T-Mobile have reduced the price of their already excellent Web'n'Walk plans. The Web’n’walk Plus package (3GB monthly allowance) has been reduced from £29 to £20 a month, whilst the Web’n’walk Max (10Gb allowance and VoIP ability) from £44 to only £35 a month. Sure, it's only available to those on 24 month contracts but, let's be honest, T-Mobile are royally whooping almost every other network on data allowance and value-for-money right now.
Today Samsung Electronics has unveiled a 5-megapixel handset G800. In addition to 5-megapixel camera with 3x optical zoom and xenon flash it features 3G support and HSDPA technology. The camera functions include face recognition, panoramic and macro modes, new graphical user’s interface draws the G800 closer to digital still cameras. Samsung G800 is expected to hit the stores (starting from Europe) in November 2007. Pictures follow.
There has been a lot of speculation of Goolge releasing a mobile phone recently, and it certainly has a lot of people excited. Gizmodo listed some of the features they would like to see on it.
Recently Engadget managed to get a hands on with the N810. If you are in the dark then this is Nokia's Internet Tablet phone, and the successor to the N800. It apparently will have the Mozilla browser, full GPS and room to expand storage to 10GB. There is also a huge 4″ screen and, the major improvement from the N800, a full qwerty keyboard. It is expected in the UK before Christmas and should retail for about £299 minus SIM.
Well the HTC HTC TyTN II has finally landed on our shores and is available to buy from several online stores. Hopefully within the next few months Vodafone will release their branded version of it, the V1615 and also T Mobile as the MDA Vario III.
Cnet have recently done a review of it, and we have a summary of the general thoughts of this phone.
Ok so I am being a bit of a Nokia Fanboy today, sorry. Nokia has launched its Prism collection – handsets aimed at ‘style-conscious' folk who perhaps value looks over specification. Apart from the looks there is nothing that special about the 7500 and 7900 Prism Phones.
The Nokia E90 Communicator is the latest line of business-like Nokia Smart phones. While this is still a beast of a phone in terms of size it is noticeably smaller than the former 9500 Communicator and manages to shave 20g off its weight.
This is the first Communicator with HSDPA and with an 800 x 352 16m-colour inner screen it can display whole Webpage widths in fine detail.
