The phone has a 6.39-inch AMOLED screen with 2340×1080 resolution, 600-nits brightness featuring a small waterdrop notch. The phone has Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 855 and the full launch specification can be found on the original launch post.
5G was the main aspect of the presentation with Qualcomm also sharing the stage talking about their Snapdragon 855 chip and X50 modem.
Following the Qualcomm section, Xiaomi officially announced the Mix 3 5G which features the Snapdragon 855 Soc with the X50 modem and it will be one of the first 5G devices to market.
Xiaomi did a video call demo over 5G and thankfully this demo did work for them.
The Mi Mix 3 5G shares most of the features of the original Mi Mix 3 using the same screen and cameras. It will be available in two colours Onyx Black and Saphire blue.
The phone officially launches in May and will cost just 599-Euros or about £520
