Xiaomi is on a mission to launch as many phones as physically possible, either under the Xiaomi or one of their sub-brands such as Redmi and Pocofone.
Yesterday they launched the Redmi K30 5G Racing Edition with the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset. Today they are due to launch the Pocofone F2 Pro which will be a rebranded Redmi K30 Pro.
Yesterday evening, Redmi President Lu Weibing hinted through Weibo that he is preparing for the launch of new products.
The new launch is expected to be the Redmi K30i 5G and it is believed this will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 800 allowing it to be the cheapest 5G phone produced by Redmi and likely one of the cheapest on the market. This would also make it the first phone to feature the MediaTek Dimensity 800.
Rumours surrounding the K30i phone have circulated that the phone will likely have a 48-megapixel quad-camera setup on its back, then a punch-hole selfie on the front but with slightly thick bezels. It is rumoured to have a IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen with 6.67 inches that have an 84.8% screen to body ratio that provides a resolution of 1080 x 2400 pixels.
There is also a Redmi 10X 4G in the works, it is believed that the name of this caused Honor to switch the name of their next phone to the Honor X10. It is expected that the Redmi 10X will just be a rebadged Redmi Note 9 which launched in the EU recently which is equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85.
