Ugreen has just announced some new QI2 MagFlow products at IFA. There are three new devices, including the two I am reviewing today, and a 3-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Desktop Charger.

Performance

The W752 MagFlow charger performs as expected. Using a USB-C power meter, I witnessed my partner’s iPhone charging at around 25W. I personally have a Pixel 9 Pro XL with a magnetic case, and it has worked perfectly well with that as well. The magnets seem a bit stronger than some of the chargers I have. For example, the ESR Qi2 3-in-1 Watch Wireless Charging Set is a great charger, but my Pixel struggles to stay in place as the case magnets are not strong enough for the charger.

This is not as portable as the QDOS SnapStand 3-in-1 Wireless Charger, but I prefer it as the overall design is more stable.

Price and Alternative Options

At the time of writing, I have not been told the RRP of the MagFlow 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger.

The existing model, which is limited to 15W, is available for £40 with 30% off available. On Amazon, it is currently listed at just £28. Therefore, I’d expect the price to be around that.

Opinion

The MagFlow 2-in-1 Magnetic Wireless Charger has become my preferred wireless charger in recent weeks. It is small but stable and has a good magnet strength, so it works well with phones that lack magnetic QI2 and use magnetic cases instead.

Assuming the price is attractive (which it normally is with Ugreen) then I can give it a strong recommendation.

Performance

Ugreen Magflow QI 2 Review 8 Large

Similar to other MagFlow chargers that have been launched, this power bank can wirelessly charge iPhones and the Pixel 10 Pro XL at 25W, or older Qi 2 devices at 15W.

You can then charge up to 30W via the built-in USB-C cable, which can also be used to charge the power bank at speeds of up to 30W.

In general, I’d say 30W wired charging (in either direction) is a bit slow for today’s standards, but in the context of a 10000mAh power bank, I think it is adequate.

In my opinion, the 10000mAh capacity is the sweet spot for carrying around with you on days out and holidays. It is more than enough to keep you going on the most demanding of days, and I think the magnetic charging and built-in cable work perfectly for this scenario.

For me, I have enough high-capacity power banks that I wouldn’t opt for this when using it at home or travelling by car/train/plane. In this situation, I’d opt for one of the Ugreen Nexode Power Banks, with the recent 20000mAh model with a retractable cable being my preferred choice for the time being.

Price and Alternative Options

I have also not been provided with the RRP of this.

The Ugreen Nexode Wireless Power Bank is available on Amazon with an RRP of £40 and discounted to £29. This is a slower charger at 15W and lacks the built-in cable

The Anker MagGo Power Bank is Qi2 but rated at 15W wireless charging and has an RRP of £70, but is available for £50.

Opinion

The PB773 MagFlow Magnetic Power Bank is ideal for use on days out. It is small enough to fit in a pocket or small bag. The built-in cable and magnetic charging make it more convenient to use when you are on the move.

It charges relatively slowly, with a wired output of only 30W. The A1335 Anker Prime Power Bank can charge up to 65W and has a total output of 130W, which may be beneficial if you have a phone that can make the most of it, but I find having to carry around a USB-C cable quite inconvenient. I think 30W wired and 25W wireless charging is perfectly adequate for a 10000mAh battery that is best used when travelling.

Overall

It is hard to form an overall opinion until I have the retail prices, but Ugreen typically prices its products very competitively.

While I don’t have an iPhone for my main phone, I am a big fan of magnetic charging and won’t use a phone without a magnetic case. The new Pixel 10 Pro XL finally features 25W magnetic Qi2 charging, but aside from that, it is too similar to my Pixel 9 Pro XL to justify an upgrade.

The magnetic charger is great for days out. The 10K capacity is an ideal size in my opinion, more than enough to keep a couple of phones going for a day, and the magnetic charging makes it much more convenient. The 30W USB-C output is a bit on the low end, but I think it is fine for charging when out and about.

The W752 2-in-1 charger is also good. I like the overall dimensions and design, and 25W is a nice bump in charge speeds compared to the older model, but I wouldn’t pay significantly more for this than the 15W model.
