Original Post – 2nd July 2019 Updated – 15 July 2019 – Amazon.es now has the phone in stock and it is just 299-Euros (possibly due to Prime Day)
The Xiaomi Mi 9T or Redmi K20 depending on where you live is arguably one of the best value phones at the moment.
I haven’t had a chance to review it yet, so I can’t vouch for how good it is in real life, but Xiaomi is normally pretty good. For specs vs price, it is hard to beat though.
Unfortunately, as usual, for us UK buyers the options are less than ideal. For a start, the Redmi K20 Pro with its Snapdragon 855 SoC hasn’t launched in the Western markets yet. Probably because it is a little too similar to the recently launched Xiaomi Mi 9.
The Xiaomi Mi 9T hasn’t even launched in the UK yet either, so this, therefore, leaves us with importing it or buying it from others that have imported it at an inflated price.

So what are the best deals for the Xiaomi Mi 9T right now?
Amazon
The phone is officially available in Spain and available on Amazon. With Amazon in the EU, you don’t pay additional fees like taxes, import duties or shipping. So if you pay on a card with perfect currency exchange rates this is likely the best way to get the phone via Amazon.
Official pricing is 329.00-Euros which works out as £293.81 according to Google.
While you can buy it from Amazon UK this is from a third party reseller, and they have just imported it themselves and listed it on Amazon for an additional £50.
At the moment the phone is currently £299 which works out at £268

Grey Import Sites
You can often buy from the likes of GearBest, Eglobal and GeekBuying for less than the UK, even if the phone is officially available here. The downside is that the original manufacturer probably won’t honour the warranty and it will be the seller you need to deal with if you face issues.
Seller | Model | Price |
Eglobal | 6GB/128GB Dual Sim (Redmi K20) | £275.49 |
Gearbest | 6GB RAM 64GB | £293.93 |
Geekbuying | 6GB 64GB | £267.65 |
