Lenovo HT10 TWS Wire-Free Earphones Review

There are a vast number of truly wireless earphones nowadays, with options to fit every budget. Priced at a little over £40 including delivery how do the Lenovo HT10 TWS earphones stack up against some of my recent reviews?

Design & Build

These are not much different in design between many models, and these are quite similar to the Groov-e SoundBuds I reviewed back in June. In particular, the way they mount into the case is very similar. I had a lot of issues getting the Groov-e to sit in their charging spot correctly, but these appear to have quite a strong magnet that holds them into place.

Each earpiece has a button which can be used to power on the earphone or pause music.

Sound Quality & Performance

Sound quality is good, but not the best. I would rate the Groov-e as better than these, but they cost over £60, which is a 50% price increase.

Bass is represented well; they are not quite as deep as the Groov-e, but better than a lot of wire-free options I have used.

It is the mids where they fall foul slightly, there can be a bit of sharpness to them, especially at high volumes. However, this is in comparison to the more expensive Groov-e, when comparing them to the £34 BlitzWolf BW-FYE7 I would say they are much more well rounded.

Fit is excellent, which is often an issue for me, and the three supplied ear tips sizes are regular size and fitting so you can swap them out with third party option if you choose. I have used these for running and on my indoor smart bike trainer and had no issues with them falling out.

Since Bluetooth 5, I have never experienced any issues with earphones pairing up with themselves, the same is true here, they connect straight away. If I leave my phone on a  table and walk off, connectivity can get a little choppy, but if the phone is in the same room as me I never experience issues. Most importantly, when running or cycling I never have any problems either.

Overall

At £40 I think these are a good buy, they don’t sound as good as the Groov-e but they are around a third cheaper. They also sound much better than the slightly less expensive BlitzWolf BW-FYE7 and Blitzwolf BW-FYE1.

They are comfortable to wear with good enough battery life and a decent battery in the charging case. So overall there is nothing bad to report and they are well worth the price.
