[UPDATE] Just to confirm that this competition has ended, and I have finally contacted the winner.
This prize is for the Mecool KM6, which I reviewed last year. It is one of the better Android TV boxes that comes from these cheap Chinese brands. They are popular with people that use IPTV services, and I found that it worked well with Plex and Kodi when streaming content from my NAS.
It uses the popular Amlogic S905X4 chipset and runs Android 10.
A big selling point about this is that it is Google certified so it has Google Play Services installed, including the Play Store, Chromecast functionality and Google Assistant.
It also supports Widevine Level1, so in theory, it should support 4K DRM from streaming services. In struggled to get Netflix in 4K, but Amazon Prime TV listed content as UHD.
Preinstalled apps include YouTube, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus, Hulu, Sling, Tubi TV, Kodi, and many more.
This has a wired gigabit Ethernet connection, and it supports WiFi 6, so I find it more reliable at playing 4K content from my server than devices like the Firestick.
The remote could be better, and you may find that you want to buy a mini wireless keyboard for the best user experience.
