Clip-on earbuds appear to be the new trend from audio brands, and understandably so.

I have never been a big fan of open-fit earbuds as they often have a poor fit, and sound quality isn’t the best due to poor bass response and ambient noise negatively affecting sound quality.

These clip-on earbuds at least solve part of that problem. I have found them consistently comfortable to wear without the feeling of them falling out. The position of the drivers is also quite close to your ear canal, so they seem to perform better than some alternatives for overall audio quality.

The main benefit of this style of earbud is the environmental awareness you get from them, which is something particularly important for outdoor exercise, and many women prefer this style.
