Yeedi has announced the launch of its M14 Plus robot vacuum and mop system, bringing the company’s flagship Ozmo Roller technology to a broader market with a more accessible price point.

The press release states the RRP is $1,399 with an early bird discount taking it down to $850, and it is currently available via Amazon only- it is not on the Yeedi website, yet.

Unfortunately, like most Yeedi launches, this will not be coming to the UK.

Design Philosophy and Aesthetic Approach

The M14 Plus features what Yeedi describes as a “Gravity Field” design concept, drawing inspiration from cosmic gravitational curves. The robot’s multidimensional curved design aims to create a sense of flow and visual harmony within home environments. The unit sports a matte white shell with rose gold accents, designed to minimise visual clutter whilst maintaining a premium appearance.

The accompanying OMNI station follows a similar design language, featuring naturally recessed surfaces and rounded edges. The station’s water tanks form a depression that echoes the gravitational curve concept, whilst a curved handle provides ergonomic grip during maintenance tasks. This represents a departure from Yeedi’s previous M12 Ultra Plus station design, moving towards a more standardised approach for the 2025 model range.

Core Cleaning Technologies

Yeedi Launches M14 Plus Robot Vacuum 2

Ozmo Roller System

The standout feature of the M14 Plus is its Ozmo Roller Instant Self-Washing Mopping Technology, previously exclusive to the flagship S14 Plus model. This system employs a high-speed rotating roller mop that spins at 200 RPM whilst applying 4,000 Pa of downward pressure to tackle stubborn stains.

The roller mop operates through a continuous self-cleaning process, utilising 16 water nozzles that deliver fresh water up to 200 times per minute. This approach differs significantly from traditional flat or disc mop systems, as the roller passes through a scraper mechanism to remove dirt before being refreshed with clean water. The system aims to prevent cross-contamination and streaking whilst reducing water residue for faster drying times.

ZeroTangle 3.0 Technology

The M14 Plus incorporates the third generation of Yeedi’s anti-tangle technology, designed to address the common issue of hair and debris wrapping around brush components. The system features an upgraded ARClean anti-tangle side brush that transitions from a three-prong single-cluster design to a single-prong dual-cluster configuration with propeller-style inward-curved bristles.

The main brush employs a cyclone-directed design with bristles positioned at a 45-degree angle, working in conjunction with a V-shaped rubber strip to create high-speed airflow that guides hair towards the centre where suction is strongest. Internal V-shaped comb teeth help redistribute hair along the roller brush, preventing accumulation whilst the 18,000 Pa suction power draws debris into the dustbin.

Navigation and Obstacle Management

AIVI 3D 3.0 Technology

The M14 Plus employs AIVI 3D 3.0 Omni-Approach Technology, which combines LiDAR with dual structured light and vision systems for comprehensive environmental mapping. The system can detect objects at distances ranging from 7cm to 12 metres, with Yeedi claiming a 100% detection rate based on 5.4 billion training data points.

Rather than simply avoiding obstacles, the system attempts to clean along object edges by extracting contours and following boundaries. This approach aims to maximise cleaning coverage whilst maintaining safe distances from furniture and other household items.

TruEdge 2.0 Edge Cleaning

The TruEdge 2.0 system incorporates a 3D Edge Sensor that constructs three-dimensional maps of edge objects during cleaning operations. The system can identify protruding elements such as varying skirting boards, suspended furniture, and door thresholds, adjusting the roller mop position to maintain close contact with edges without causing collisions.

The side brush automatically extends to cover internal corners, whilst front-structured light assists with obstacle avoidance planning. Yeedi claims this system achieves 100% edge coverage through continuous monitoring and flexible movement adjustments.

Station Capabilities and Maintenance

The compact OMNI station integrates multiple automated functions designed to reduce manual maintenance requirements. The system performs automatic dust emptying into a 3-litre capacity bag, hot water mop washing at 75°C, and hot air drying at 63°C.

The station features 4-litre capacity tanks for both clean and dirty water, with automatic refilling capabilities for the robot’s onboard water tank. The system can operate for up to 150 days without manual intervention, according to Yeedi’s specifications.

Temperature-controlled mop washing aims to improve cleaning effectiveness, whilst the hot air drying function helps prevent mould and bacteria growth. The station’s compact footprint allows installation in confined spaces, addressing common placement constraints in smaller homes.

Technical Specifications and Performance

The M14 Plus operates with 18,000 Pa maximum suction power and features a 5,200 mAh battery providing up to 241 minutes of runtime. The robot can cross thresholds up to 20mm in height and automatically lifts its mop by 10mm when carpets are detected.

The system supports multiple cleaning modes including vacuum-only, mop-only, combined vacuum and mop, and sequential mop-after-vacuum operations. Smart carpet detection enables customised cleaning strategies, with options for carpet-first cleaning and deep cleaning cycles.

Market Position and Availability

The M14 Plus launch represents Yeedi’s strategy to expand flagship technologies to more accessible price points. The company, founded in 2019 and based in Shenzhen, holds over 2,000 patents in service robot technology and has expanded into more than 20 countries.

The limited-time launch pricing of $850 positions the M14 Plus competitively against established brands such as Roborock and Dreame, whilst the full retail price of $1400 places it in the premium segment. The model is available exclusively through Yeedi’s Amazon store from 26 May to 1 June 2025, after which standard pricing applies.
