OPPO has today announced the forthcoming availability of its Reno13 Series 5G smartphones in the UK market, strengthening the company’s commitment to British consumers with a range of devices that blend premium design elements with advanced AI capabilities and exceptional durability.

The Reno13 Series 5G, comprising the Reno13 Pro 5G, Reno13 5G, and Reno13 F 5G, will be officially launched in the UK on April 3rd 2025, with availability across OPPO Store, Currys, EE, and TikTok.

OPPO has been building its presence in the UK market over recent years. 2024 saw the launch of the Reno12 Series with channel partner EE and the Find X8 Pro with channel partner VMO2. This momentum has continued into 2025 with OPPO’s partnership with high street and online retailer Currys, which has resulted in the launch of five devices through these channels since December 2024.

The series offers new colourways to suit different styles. The Reno13 Pro 5G is available in Plume Purple and Graphite Gray, while the Reno13 5G comes in Plume White and Luminous Blue.

The One-piece Sculpted Glass back is designed for a seamless feel, enhancing both grip and durability. It’s crafted from a single 1.5mm-thick piece of glass that seamlessly integrates the camera module with the rest of the back. The precise sculpting preserves extra thickness around the camera, creating a raised effect while maintaining a smooth, continuous finish.

The complex 65-step manufacturing process, with doubled carving time and 50% longer polishing, ensures precision. The dual-texture finish—glossy on the camera matrix and matte elsewhere—reduces fingerprints while enhancing the premium feel.

The aerospace-grade aluminium frame offers a 200% increase in yield strength compared to plastic frames, providing 20% improved resistance to bending and 36% improved drop resistance. Both devices feature 120Hz Smart Adaptive Screens with 1.5K resolution, delivering sharp, vibrant visuals and smooth performance. The screens are certified for HDR10+, Amazon HD & HDR, and Netflix HD & HDR, ensuring exceptional quality content.

The displays are designed with eye comfort in mind, featuring a hardware-based low-blue-light solution. They are certified by BOE SGS and Seamless Pro’s Eye Protection Certificate, ensuring a comfortable, eye-friendly experience in various lighting conditions.

The Reno13 Series 5G sets new standards for smartphone durability with IP66, IP68, and IP69 Water and Dust Resistance. These devices are designed to withstand extreme conditions, including 80°C water jets and submersion in fresh water up to 2 meters deep for 30 minutes.

AI Night Portrait: Uses generative AI to boost the definition of faces, reduce image noise, and refine facial contours for clearer images in dark environments.
