OPPO has announced the worldwide availability of its latest flagship smartphones, the Find X9 and Find X9 Pro. This new series features a camera system co-engineered with Hasselblad, new battery technology, and the ColorOS 16 operating system.
“Find X9 Series represents a giant leap forward in mobile imaging, driven by industry-leading new features like the 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto,” said Pete Lau, SVP and Chief Product Officer at OPPO. “As OPPO’s new-generation flagship, Find X9 Series delivers a comprehensive, top-to-bottom upgrade, setting a new global standard for smartphone excellence.”
The series aims to provide an exceptional all-around experience, combining its camera system, battery life, and performance.
The New-Generation Hasselblad Master Camera System

Continuing the Find X legacy of imaging development, the Find X9 series debuts a new-generation Hasselblad Master Camera System. This system pairs cutting-edge hardware with advanced computational photography, representing a major leap in image quality.
Find X9 Camera Specifications
The Find X9 model features a pro-level triple camera setup.
- Main Camera: The primary camera is a 50-megapixel shooter with a 1/1.4-inch Sony LYT-808 sensor and a bright f/1.6 aperture, capturing 57% more light for clarity. This 23mm wide-angle lens has a 1.12 micrometre pixel size and includes multi-directional phase detection autofocus (PDAF) and optical image stabilisation (OIS).
- Ultra-Wide Camera: This is a versatile 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 15mm focal length, providing a 120-degree field of view. It uses a 1/2.76-inch sensor with 0.64 micrometre pixels and features multi-directional PDAF, which also allows it to function as a macro camera.
- Periscope Telephoto Camera: The telephoto camera is a 50-megapixel periscope lens with an f/2.6 aperture and a 73mm focal length, enabling 3x optical zoom. It features a 1/1.95-inch Sony LYT600 sensor with 0.61 micrometre pixels, multi-directional PDAF, and OIS.
Complementing these three 50MP cameras is an industry-first True Colour Camera. This dedicated spectral sensor precisely measures ambient light, resulting in more accurate colour reproduction even in the most difficult lighting. The CSV file also lists Laser AF, Hasselblad Colour Calibration, LED flash, HDR, panorama, and LUT preview as features for the main camera system.
Find X9 Pro Camera Upgrades
The Find X9 Pro builds on this foundation with an upgraded main and telephoto camera.
- Ultra XDR Main Camera: The main camera on the Pro model features a customised 1/1.28-inch Sony LYT 828 sensor. This 50-megapixel, 23mm lens has a faster f/1.5 aperture and larger 1.22 micrometre pixels. It also includes multi-directional PDAF and OIS. This sensor uses groundbreaking Real-Time Triple Exposure technology that captures breathtaking detail in both shadows and highlights.
- 200MP Hasselblad Telephoto: The standout feature for the Find X9 Pro is its 200-megapixel Hasselblad Telephoto camera. Developed in partnership with Hasselblad, this 3x camera features a massive 1/1.56-inch sensor with 0.5 micrometre pixels. It is paired with a Hasselblad-certified lens that has an ultra-fast f/2.1 aperture and a 70mm focal length for superior light gathering. This telephoto lens also supports a 10cm minimum focus distance for macro shots and includes multi-directional PDAF and OIS.
- Ultra-Wide Camera: The ultra-wide camera on the Pro model is a 50-megapixel lens with an f/2.0 aperture, 15mm focal length (120-degree), a 1/2.76-inch sensor, 0.64 micrometre pixels, and multi-directional PDAF.
For this series, OPPO also developed an Active Optical Alignment process that precisely matches the lens with the sensor, boosting resolution by an additional 15%.
Selfie Cameras
There is a difference in the front-facing cameras between the two models.
- Find X9 Pro: Features a 50-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture, 21mm focal length, a 1/2.76-inch sensor, 0.64 micrometre pixels, and PDAF.
- Find X9: Features a 32-megapixel wide-angle selfie camera with an f/2.4 aperture, 21mm focal length, a 1/2.74-inch sensor, and 0.8 micrometre pixels.
Both models support panorama mode and video recording at 4K (30/60fps) and 1080p (30/60fps) with gyro-EIS.
LUMO Image Engine and Software
The Find X9 Series is also the first to offer users its brand-new LUMO Image Engine. This is a proprietary suite of computational photography algorithms that enhances clarity, dynamic range, and colour science while ensuring photos look natural. By rebuilding the imaging pipeline with Parallel Computing, the engine achieves more with less: up to 50% less CPU usage, 60% less memory usage, and 50% less power consumption.
The efficiency of the LUMO Image Engine unlocks the full potential of the high-resolution sensors. In bright daylight, users can capture photos in full 50-megapixel resolution by default, delivering over four times the detail of standard 12-megapixel images. In low light or other challenging cases, the camera intelligently switches to 25-megapixel or 12-megapixel modes, using pixel binning for superior noise control.
Video, Zoom, and Concert Capabilities
The Find X9 Series is engineered to be a companion for concerts and live events, providing unrivalled zoom in both photo and video shooting.
By intelligently cropping its 200-megapixel sensor, the Find X9 Pro delivers high-quality lossless zoom up to 13.2x. Both models feature OPPO’s Super Zoom algorithm for enhanced clarity up to 120x. With OPPO’s Stage Mode, users can capture concert photos with enhanced contrast and tone for a dramatic, atmospheric effect.
Pro-Grade Video
The series’ pro-grade video capabilities are equally impressive. Both devices support 4K 120fps Dolby Vision HDR video recording on the main camera. The Find X9 Pro extends this capability to its 200-megapixel Hasselblad Telephoto. Both phones also support 4K at 30/60fps and 1080p at 30/60/240fps, with gyro-EIS, 10-bit video, and LOG recording.
For professional users, the Find X9 Series supports LOG recording with ACES certification, providing a flat, data-rich file that serves as the perfect canvas for professional colour grading.
The series also introduces industry-first 4K Motion Photos, elevating video resolution from 1080p to 4K for dramatically clearer results. Additionally, users can extract any frame as a high-resolution still image, ensuring every moment is preserved in perfect detail.
Hasselblad Teleconverter
For the ultimate advantage, OPPO also offers the Hasselblad Teleconverter. This professional-grade optical accessory, designed exclusively for the Find X9 Pro, transforms the phone into a 10x optical super-zoom powerhouse. It enables up to 200x digital zoom for photos and 50x for video.
A New Era of Battery Power

The Find X9 series features large-capacity batteries. The Find X9 is equipped with a substantial 7025mAh battery, all within a slim 7.99mm profile. The Find X9 Pro, which is slightly larger, packs an even more impressive 7500mAh battery. This is the largest battery in any OPPO flagship device.
Fitting this battery power into a slender frame is made possible by the third-generation OPPO Silicon-Carbon Battery, which has 15% silicon content. With OPPO’s customised spherical carbon material, the Find X9 Series is engineered for long-term reliability, retaining over 80% of its original capacity even after five years of typical use.
When it’s time to recharge, both models support 80W OPPO SUPERVOOC wired flash charging. The specification sheet also notes support for 80W UFCS, 55W PPS, and 11.7W PD. Both phones also feature 50W AIRVOOC wireless charging and 10W reverse wireless charging for convenient power top-ups.
Design, Display, and Build

The Find X9 Series features a modern, flat-edged aesthetic with a subtly contoured frame for a comfortable grip. The streamlined camera module is positioned to stay clear of fingers during use.
Both models feature a new-generation flat display with ultra-thin, 1.15mm symmetrical bezels for an immersive and borderless viewing experience. The 120Hz displays boast a peak outdoor brightness of 3600 nits and a minimum brightness of 1 nit. They are also listed with a typical brightness of 800 nits and a high brightness mode (HBM) of 1800 nits. Both support 1 billion colours, Dolby Vision, HDR10+, HDR Vivid, and Ultra HDR image support.
The displays combine this with high-frequency PWM dimming for eye comfort. The Find X9 Pro uses 2160Hz PWM, while the Find X9 uses 3840Hz PWM.
- Find X9 Pro Display: Features a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1272 x 2772 pixels, resulting in a pixel density of approximately 450 ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2.
- Find X9 Display: Features a 6.59-inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1256 x 2760 pixels, for a density of approximately 460 ppi. It is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
All models feature a matte aluminium frame and glass back cover that resists fingerprints.
- Find X9 Pro Dimensions: 161.3 x 76.5 x 8.3 mm, with a weight of 224 g.
- Find X9 Dimensions: 157 x 73.9 x 8 mm, with a weight of 203 g.
Beyond aesthetics, both devices are engineered for exceptional durability. With IP66, IP68, and IP69 ratings, the Find X9 Series delivers class-leading protection against dust, powerful water jets, water submersion (up to 1.5m for 30 minutes), and even high-temperature spray.
Performance: Dimensity 9500 and Trinity Engine
The Find X9 Series is powered by the cutting-edge MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process. Its All-Big-Core CPU architecture achieves up to 32% higher performance and 55% less peak power consumption. The CPU is an octa-core setup with one 4.21 GHz C1-Ultra core, three 3.5 GHz C1-Premium cores, and four 2.7 GHz C1-Pro cores.
The Arm G1-Ultra GPU also delivers a massive boost, with 33% higher graphics performance and 42% better power efficiency. The new MediaTek NPU 990 offers over double the performance with 56% more efficiency. These capabilities are enhanced by the Find X9 Series’ customised vapour chambers, ensuring smooth and stable gameplay that stays cool to the touch.
Developed in close collaboration with MediaTek, OPPO’s All-New Trinity Engine redefines chip-level resource management for sustained high performance and superior power efficiency. This includes features like:
- Chip-Level Dynamic Frame Sync for greater fluency in high-stress scenarios.
- A Unified Computing Power Model for over 90% accuracy in power-consumption prediction.
- Sensor Offload, resulting in 16.1% less power usage during 4K 60fps HDR video recording.
Both models use UFS 4.1 storage and do not have a memory card slot. The 1TB 16GB RAM model of the Find X9 Pro also adds satellite connectivity support.
Software: ColorOS 16

The Find X9 series also debuts ColorOS 16, which is based on Android 16. OPPO states the phones will receive up to 5 major Android upgrades. This new OS is described as a new benchmark for smoothness, intelligence, and connectivity.
Building on the foundation of ColorOS 15’s Parallel Animation, the new Seamless Animation delivers instantaneous, fluid interactions powered by the All-New Luminous Rendering Engine.
ColorOS 16 also brings a range of AI-powered features that boost productivity and creativity.
- AI Mind Space: Users can capture on-screen content instantly using the new Snap Key.
- AI Recorder: Automatically generates titles and summaries.
- AI Portrait Glow: Enhances low-light portraits by balancing light and skin tones with a single tap.
Expanding its cross-device capabilities, O+ Connect now supports both Mac and Windows. Users can manage phone files from their computer or remotely control their PC via their phone. Screen Mirroring allows up to five apps to be displayed and operated using a mouse and keyboard, perfect for multitasking across devices.
Connectivity and Other Features
Both phones support either a Nano-SIM and eSIM combination or a dual Nano-SIM setup.
For communications, the series includes Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/6/7 (dual-band for X9, dual/tri-band for Pro), Bluetooth 6.0 with A2DP, LE, aptX HD, and LHDC 5. Both phones also feature NFC and an infrared port.
A full suite of positioning systems is included: GPS (L1+L5), BDS (B1I+B1c+B2a+B2b), GALILEO (E1+E5a+E5b), QZSS (L1+L5), GLONASS, and NavIC (L5).
The Find X9 Pro uses a USB Type-C 3.2 port with OTG, while the Find X9 uses a USB Type-C port with OTG. Both phones feature under-display ultrasonic fingerprint sensors, along with an accelerometer, gyro, proximity, and compass. For audio, both models have stereo speakers but no 3.5mm headphone jack.

The OPPO Find X9 and Find X9 Pro will be available in the UK now.
UK Pricing and Configurations
- OPPO Find X9: Comes in a 12GB + 512GB configuration, priced at £899.
- OPPO Find X9 Pro: Offered in a 16GB + 512GB configuration, priced at £1,099.
While these are the UK launch models, other configurations are listed in the specification sheet, including 256GB, 512GB, and 1TB storage options with 12GB or 16GB of RAM.
