As someone with a bad online shopping problem, Black Friday is both a blessing and a curse. I will be obsessively looking over deals over the next week finding tech and other products that I want to buy. I will also be highlighting some of the best deals I come across while hopefully resisting buying all of them.

Today is just deals on Amazon, I will do deals for specific categories, or other retailers as the week progresses.

Amazon Echo Dot 3rd Gen for £24.99

Only released a few weeks ago you can now pick up the new Echo Dot for half its RRP. Unless you absolutely need an Echo it is madness to ever buy one not on prime day/Black Friday.

For £25 it is a great way to get into the voice assistant world.

Philips Hue – Multiple Deals – Colour Ambience Starter pack for £80

Philips Hue is one of the weird gadgets that you have absolutely no need for at all, but end up loving. I have replaced most of the E27 bulbs in my house with this now.

I started off with the white ones but swapped to Colour Ambience, so I would recommend just going straight for the colour ones.

Camelcamelcamel.com doesn’t appear to show historic data for the starter pack, but I paid £10 more on Prime Day 2017.

Fitbit Charge 2

We all know what the Fitbit does now, this is the goto model for anyone wanting to get into basic fitness. Currently the cheapest ever with the normal discount being around £90.

Garmin Fenix 5 – £309

The Fenix 5 Plus may have some fun additional features but you would be mad to spend that kind of money when you can pick up the last generation for nearly half the price. At £309 this is an absolutely awesome multi-sports watch and the cheapest it has ever been by about £40.

Bose QuietComfort 25 – £129.90

The gold standard for noise-cancelling earphones. These are the wired version otherwise I would probably be buying them. This is the lowest price they have ever been according to camelcamelcamel.com

Ultimate Ears Megaboom Bluetooth Speakers – £99

The Ultimate Ears Magaboom is the best portable Bluetooth speaker I have reviewed but with an RRP of £250 it was way to expensive compared to the Anker Flare Plus. However, it is now at its cheapest price ever at just £99 and it is well worth your money.

To sweeten the deal a little more it works with the Buy a Speaker and get the new Amazon Echo Input for £14.99 offer

1MORE Triple Driver In-Ear Earphones –   £69.70

1MORE are easily my favourite earphone manufacturer at the moment, the Triple Driver wired model was amazing and now so is the Bluetooth version. If your phone still has a 3.5mm jack then this is a bargain for some great earphones, or treat yourself and get the Quad Driver for £127

OnePlus 6 6GB/64GB – £399

If you want an affordable flagship Android phone then this is a great option, unlike the Pocophone F1 it has NFC and the Android OS is mostly untouched giving you a great user experience and regular updates.

Philips OneBlade Hybrid – £39.99 or Philips OneBlade Pro £54.99

I have never used one of these, but they appear to get a lot of love from people, and it is tempting to make an impulse buy.
