OPPO have been teasing their latest flagship device recently, but various leaks have confirmed many of the specifications of the OPPO Reno.

In a quest to ditch the notch, OPPO has already used the slider design before with the Find X, but now they are using a new style of a pop up in a wedge shape.

We can't say if the new pop up has any practical advantages over the normal style, maybe it is more durable. However it helps the phone stand out from the croud with its unnusual looks.

OPPO have confirmed that there will be two varients of the phone, one with the Snapdragon 710 chipset whereas the higher variant will have Snapdragon 855.

OPPO VP Yiren Shen has confirmed that these two editions of the Oppo Reno will be equipped with different cooling technologies. The Snapdragon 710 edition will make use of heat-conducting gel and graphite sheet for heat dissipation. The Snapdragon 855 variant of the OPPO Reno will include a copper tube liquid cooling heat sink.

The phones have popped up on the Bluetooth SIG certification website and a TENAA listing revealing several details about their specification.

As this is a Chinese benchmarking platform I dont have information on how it compares to other phones. It will likely be similar to other SD855 phones though.
