Realme will be launching its first tablet alongside the Realme 9 and Realme 9 5G on the 12th of May.
The Android tablet market has floundered in the past few years. It is basically just Samsung which is the only big company making them. TCL have some options, but hardly anyone sells them. Random Chinese brands such as Teclast are your best bet if you can’t justify the cost of Samsung.
Therefore I think Realme could be in a good position for a new Android tablet.
The new tablet is relatively low spec running a Unisoc T616 Processor which consists of two fast ARM Cortex A75 cores at up to 2 GHz and six power-efficient ARM Cortex A55 cores at up to 1.8 GHz.
It then has 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.
The display is 8.7”, making It a touch bigger than its namesake, the iPad Mini which is 8.3”.
No word on pricing, but I would expect it to be quite affordable.
