Lypertek PurePlay Z5 Earbuds Announced with ANC for £119

The Lypertek PurePlay Z3 & TEVI earbuds were widely praised by users and critics alike.

Lypertek has now launched their successor, the upgrade is so big that it skipped the Z4 and went straight to the Lypertek PurePlay Z5 (though the PurePlay Z3 2.0 could be classed as the 4^th model).

The big upgrade is the inclusion of active noise cancelling, which significantly reduces the amount of audible outside noise for distraction-free listening. The brand doesn’t make any claims about the ANC performance, so we will have to wait and see how they perform when I review them.

The new earbuds also have a new design which now has a stem, it is possible that this help improves the ANC performance with the external microphone position.

Due to the ANC, the battery performance drops a bit, going down from 10 hours to 7 hours, but this is significantly better than average compared to normal ANC earbuds.
