I recently reviewed the excellent ABOX A4, and because I have plenty of media devices in my home already I am giving this one away.
Unlike my previous reviews the ABOX A4 uses Android TV which provides a more optimised interface for the TV and I think it is far better than the skinned Android options of other devices, the interface is much easier and smoother to navigate.
It comes with no additional software, and there are no built-in guides to set up streaming, I love this about the device but some may not. Play Store is quite limited, in particular, there are no catch-up apps which is a shame.
The voice remote control has worked flawlessly, allowing you to easily search for apps or media using your voice. The remote is IR so not as good as Bluetooth, and I would still be tempted to get one of the cheap mini keyboards off Amazon.
Overall it is a great device, almost a budget Nvidia Shield
