HTC U12+ Full Specification Leaked Plus Photos

Serial leaker Evan Blass has done it again with his latest leak. This time we have the full specification of the phone including images. One of the first things you will notice is the lack of a notch, while it has slim bezels it is more of a 2017 style rather than 2018. The display itself is a 6-inch 2880×1440 18:9 Super LCD. It has full HDR10 support so it should go quite bright. The usual flagship processor is in there, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, this is teamed up with 6GB of RAM and either 64GB or 128GB of...

Android 8 Oreo Rollout Begins with Nokia 8 & HTC U11 First to get it

Each year Android announces new versions of their OS, and geeks like myself get excited about using the new features, only to be disappointed after six months when the Manufacturer or Carrier hasn’t pushed any updates. Most of the big brands are bad for this, and I am not hopeful that my LG V20 will ever get the update. For example, if you are a Samsung fan it is unlikely you will receive an update anytime soon. The Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge only started to receive the Android 7.0 143 days after it was announced. However, some companies...

HTC U11 Plus Announced – Making a great phone better

The HTC U11 has been mostly universally praised by reviews and users and HTC is hoping to continue its success with an upgraded version of the device. The HTC U11 Plus bumps up the display size from 5.5-inches to 6, but thanks to the even slimmer bezels, it is actually only slighter larger than its smaller brother. HTC is still using the same LCD technology as in the U11 and the new screen size gives you an aspect ratio of 18:9. The biggest selling point for me is the large 3930 mAh battery, and considering the Razer Phone uses...

HTC has been in dire straits the past few years, their past 3 phones have bombed, been heavily criticised by many. The company itself has been losing money hand over fist. So this year seems to be a case of do or die. They have the HTC Vive, which looks like a great VR system, but probably not enough to save the company. Now they have launched the HTC 10 and it looks like they have tried to pull out all the stops. Let’s get the initial specification out of the way, the HTC 10 is powered by the...

HTC announces prices Vive bundle, sets pre-order date

This year looks to be all about Virtual Reality. The Oculus Rift is set to launch at the end of March and ow HTC have announced the launch details of their Vive Consumer Edition virtual reality bundle. Unfortunately, early adopters may suffer from some sticker shock, as the pricing comes in at $799, $200 more than the Oculus Rift. There is some justification with this though, you get a pair of specially-designed wireless controllers and a pair of sensors capable of tracking the player's movement throughout a room. The device also comes with a pair of fully-fledged VR experiences,...

HTC One M9 Announced

So the HTC One M9 has finally been announced! And it appears most of the leaks were about right! There is no major change in terms of industrial design here; the M9 looks a lot like the M8. So you have a aluminium unibody design with a 5-inch 1080p display and HTC's trademark BoomSound speakers. Specification appear to be just an incremental bump too with a Qualcomm's octa-core Snapdragon 810 CPU, 3GB of RAM, Android 5.0 Lollipop. The battery capacity has also been bumped up from 2,600mAh to 2,840mAh, which, when combined with the new Snapdragon, will hopefully see the M9 last a full day...
