Samsung has sent out its IFA invitations, and they all but confirm that the Galaxy Note 3 will appear at this year's German technology show.
Samsung's IFA invitation pictured arrived in our inbox on Monday afternoon, telling us to “Note the date” of Samsung's 4 September press conference alongside a trio of Samsung Unpacked images. This is our biggest clue yet that Samsung will announce its next generation Galaxy Note smartphone, the Galaxy Note 3 at the Berlin technology show, just as speculation had suggested.
There have been plenty of rumours about the Samsung Galaxy Note 3. If the rumours are accurate, Samsung's third generation phablet will feature a 5.7in screen, powered by a Samsung eight-core Exynos 5 processor with 3GB of RAM. There's also talk that the handset will feature an “advanced” 13MP rear-facing camera, Google's Android 4.3 mobile operating system and, of course, a stylus.
The HTC One Max is also expected to be released at the show with equally impressive specifications of a 5.9-inch , 1080p display, a Snapdragon 800 chipset with a quad-core 2.3GHz Krait 400 processor, Adreno 330 graphics and 2GB of RAM. There will also be the same HTC One 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera onboard with OIS, 16GB expandable storage, a 3300mAh battery and a 9.4mm profile.
