We have known that Razer is releasing an Android based mobile phone for a while now, and it comes as no surprise that not only is this going to be a high-end phone, but it is also going to be gamercentric.
Some new information has leaked about the phone, and it looks sounds very impressive so far.
The Razer Phone will have a 5.7-inch, 120Hz IGZO display, Dolby Atmos sound with dual front speakers and amps, a dual 12- and 13-megapixel wide angle/zoom camera, 4,000mAh battery, 64GB of storage and 8GB of RAM.
Other specs aren't known, but another, much less reliable GFXBench leak points to a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 CPU and 2,560 x 1,440 display resolution.
The leak comes from a relatively unknown (to me) mobile reseller in the UK called 3G, normally I would be tempted to write this rumour off, however, 3G is a retail partner with Three, which recently announced an “exciting global strategic alliance” with Razer.
We will find out later today if the leak is true as Razer is officially launching the phone today.
