Philips recently showed off their new Ultra-Widescreen Cinema 21:9 TV in London that we previously blogged about.

The TV is reported to be 56", 5 HDMI sockets and is likely to be launch in spring at a cost of £3,000. I think that is a pretty decent price considering it is a highly niche market and quite a big screen, I would certainly take it over Sony’s XEL-1 OLED which retails at £3,489.
