Huawei’s Honor 5X is now available from £169.99

Sharing is caring!

Huawei's Honor 5X is headed to the US before the end of January, but the European launch was held last night, with the phone now being available from £169.99.

This is a big phone with a decent specification for not a lot of money. The Honor 5X comes with a 5.5-inch 1080p touchscreen, a 13 MP rear camera with dual-tone LED flash, a 5 MP selfie snapper, Qualcomm's Snapdragon 615 chipset (with a 1.5 GHz octa-core CPU), 2 or 3GB of RAM, 16GB of expandable storage, and a 3,000 mAh battery. It runs Android 5.1.1 Lollipop, but an update to Marshmallow has been promised for the future.

The Honor 5X can be purchased direct from Huawei if you are in the UK, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland.

Huawei have been producing some fantastic phones recently, they are the manufacturer of the Nexus 6P which is our favourite phone from last year and we recently reviewed the excellent Mate S. So if you are looking for a budget phone with a big screen, this could be a great option. Hopefully we will get to review it soon.
