Recently images of the Huawei Maimang 7 have appeared on TENAA, the telecom regulatory body from China. Last year the Maimang 6 that was rolled out as Mate 10 Lite in other regions so it would be safe to assume that this year will be the same.

The Maimang 7 that has a model number of SNE-AL00 measures 158.3 x 75.3 x 7.6mm and it weighs 172 grams. The TENAA listing states that apart from black, there is no other colour variant of the Maimang 7 smartphone. The handset houses a 6.3-inch IPS LCD display that produces Full HD+ resolution 2340 x 1080 pixels. It means that the display will offer an aspect ratio of 19:9. It appears that the phone will feature a notch.

The phone will have a 2.2 GHz octa-core processor which suggests that it could be the second phone from the company to feature the Kirin 710 SoC. It is packed with 3,650mAh battery. This will then be coupled with 6 GB of RAM and 64GB of storage.

The Maimang 7 features 20-megapixel + 2-megapixel rear-mounted dual camera and its frontside features 24-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual camera.

The Mate 20 series will likely be unveiled at some point in October, and ship in November in many international markets where Huawei is allowed to conduct business.
