Qualcomm has a messy selection of mid-range chips, they launched the Snapdragon 670 towards the end of 2018, then three months later announced its follow up the Snapdragon 675.

Read out Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 vs Snapdragon 710 comparison

The new SD675 has a superior processor to the Snapdragon 710 which is supposed to sit higher up in terms of price and performance.

Furthermore, the SD710 has been updated to the Snapdragon 712, however, this new chipset turned a very small improvement with the only change being a 0.1Ghz increase in the clock speeds.

So out of the four upper mid-range chips that Qualcomm have in circulation it is the Snapdragon 675 that appears to be the stand out option.

With this being so new, there are not a great deal of options for it at the moment, so we have compiled a list of current and upcoming phones that feature the new SD675.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro

The Redmi Note 7 Pro is likely to be the first phone that is readily available to UK buyers, it was announced in February and it is expected to launch any time soon.

Flipkart have the phone listed for ₹13,999 which converts to £153, when the phone becomes available on sites like GearBest and BandGood you will likely have to pay a premium, so expect it to be closer to £200

This looks set to be one of the best affordable phones of the year, with its large screen and water drop notch it has premium looks that compete with phones three times its price. The 48MP+5MP camera set-up means that this should be an exceptional camera phone for the price.

Xiaomi have launched in the UK and Europe so the phone should become available from the likes of Amazon and others over the next few weeks.
