Not content with shaking up the affordable flagship market with the X2 Pro, Realme are now getting ready to launch a new device, the Realme X50.

The news of this phone has come directly from Realme via Weibo where they reveal the phone will have dual-mode 5G (SA/NSA) and the image silhouette indicates a dual punch-hole display with two front-facing cameras.

No other information has been revealed. We know that Realme is planning to be one of the first companies to launch a mid-range 5G phone running the Qualcomm Snapdragon 735 but it is thought that this may be the next flagship phone.

This would, therefore, mean it is using the yet to be announced Qualcomm Snapdragon 865.

Some people seem to think the ‘5’ stands for the first 5G smartphone from the company, and ‘0’ represents that the upcoming leap year, 2020. With it being late November, a 2020 launch looks inevitable.

All the other specifications are just a guess at the moment, but you can expect a quad camera, with a large MP count lens, likely the 108MP Samsung sensor combined with a telephoto lens and an ultra-wide.

It will almost certainly have a high refresh rate screen and at least 50W charging as we saw on the Realme X2 Pro.
