While I was late reviewing it, I came away loving the OnePlus 7 Pro, the user experience has to be one of the best on any phone at the moment.

As part of the usual OnePlus cycle, it is now due for an upgrade with the OnePlus 7T and 7T Pro set to launch.

Numerous reports have stated that the phone will be launching next month, in particular, launching on 26 Sep in Delhi. This is around the time that the Huawei Mate 30 will be launching so a new upgraded OP7T will work well for the company.

Currently, most of the leaks are regarding the 7T, not the Pro model.

The 7T will be powered by the Snapdragon 855+ SoC which is a higher-clocked version of the Snapdragon 855 that powers the OnePlus 7. It will have 8GB of RAM and you will have two storage options to choose from – 128GB and 256GB.

The smartphone will boast a 6.55″ 90Hz 2K Super AMOLED display which is an upgrade over the 6.41″ 60Hz FHD+ Optic AMOLED display on the OnePlus 7.

The OnePlus 7T will retain the 16MP selfie shooter, and the 48MP main camera at the back will now be joined by 16MP and 12MP units. The cameras will also be able to record wide-angle and 960 FPS slow-mo videos.

The battery gets a nominal upgrade here – up from 3,700 mAh to 3,800 mAh.

The OnePlus 7T will come in Frosted Silver and Haze Blue colours, and the company will also offer free cloud storage for a year.

OnePlus 7T Pro

Less information is known about the OP7T Pro, but if the 7T has the Snapdragon 855+ then it is a given this will too.

It is also believed that the OP7T Pro will get a minor battery bump from 4000mAh to 4080mAh.

If all the above is true, it makes me wonder what extra the OnePlus 7T Pro can offer, and if the OP7T can retain its pricing of around £550. A new screen, SD855+ and a well-specced triple rear camera all would place it at a much higher price point in my opinion.
