CyanogenMod are trying to become the third major mobile OS, and in order to do that they need to make the installation as easy as possible.
Well that is what they have just done with the release of their new Play Store and Windows Apps. Rather than going through an arguably complex process to install their ROM the Play Store app will work with the Windows companion app to do all the hard work for you, and install the latest version of CyanogenMod.
The majority of current flagship devices are supported by the setup, and the devs say they're working on adding more models to the list. This is great news for anyone stuck with a phone that has not had an update for a long time, CyanogenMod generally uses the very latest version of Android without all the bloatware manufacturers put onto devices.
