USB type C cables have been quite expensive since launch, possibly due to increased costs in making them fit the USB-C specification, so 6 cables priced at £15.99 made by Choetech seemed like a great buy.

I don’t have the equipment to test if these cables actually fit the USB specification, and there has been a lot of controversy across Amazon with cables of questionable quality potentially damaging USB C devices.

However, according to the specification and other user reviews the Choetech cables do fit the required specification. The specification on Amazon claims it has a 56-ohm resistor and supports 2.4A fast charging and the speed of data sync up to 480 Mbps.

The pack actually comes with mixed length cables, which I found quite convenient for different uses. I use a long one in the bedroom so I can use my phone easily while in bed, while the shorter ones are handy when I am out and about and want to charge my phone using my power bank in my bag.

Overall, for the price, there is nothing to complain about here, they seem to be good quality cables and do the job perfectly.
