A few days ago, we blogged about the up and coming BlackBerry motion, but at the time it appeared that it was only being released in the middle east.

BlackBerry has no confirmed that it is getting a UK release and it will be available in Selfridges, John Lewis, Dixons Travel, Currys PC World, Amazon, Very, and Littlewoods.

You can currently pre-order it from the Carphone Warehouse for £399 which is cheaper than I would have expected it to cost and puts it well into the mid-range pricing for phones.

At this price you could be getting a great phone, the biggest selling point has to be the 4,000mAh battery which is much larger than any other phone by the major brands like Samsung or Google.

The BlackBerry Motion is equipped with a 5.5-inch Full-HD display and the processor is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 625. Both of these along with the huge battery should help you achieve some phenomenal screen on and standby time. It should easily last over a day.

Most of the insides are identical to the excellent BlackBerry KEYone I just reviewed, however, you don’t get the superb keyboard, but for £100 saving this will likely be worth it for many people.

These specs include 4GB of RAM, 32GB of storage plus the option to upgrade via MicroSD and a 12-megapixel rear camera.

The phone is IP67 water resistant where the KEYone was not.

It will ship with Android 7.1 but Oreo should be available immediately.
