Acer Switch 10E Review / Initial Impressions

The Acer Aspire Switch 10E is the follow up to the excellent Switch 10 I reviewed back in December for the first #acerliveblog event. While the convertible laptop market is becoming more and more saturated, the Switch 10E is one of the only low cost devices out there costing around £230 from John Lewis making it only slightly more expensive than the traditional form low cost laptops from Acer such as the Acer Aspire V11. The Switch 10E is powered by a Intel Atom Z3735F Quad-core 1.33 GHz, with 2 GB Ram and 32 GB Flash Memory. The 10.1″...

Acer Revo One Initial Impressions

During the weekend in Dublin, Acer had set up a Revo One for us to check out. This was perhaps the most interesting device of the weekend and a shame I couldn’t get more chance to play with it. Pricing goes up significantly to £650 for...

You can current buy it from Expansys for £138.99 putting it around the same pricing as...

A big thanks to Acer for #acerliveblog

So it is back to work after an amazing weekend with the team at Acer and Otto PR as well as all the other bloggers that attended. During the course of the weekend I got to cook a meal with Cooks Academy which was surprisingly good fun, and both the Chefs that ran the night were brilliant and very patient with some/all of us. On Saturday Acer had us try out some Gaelic Games as well as learning to play the bodhran drum. I was particularly bad at the drum, but I enjoyed playing handball, Gaelic football and hurling. I think we all...
