HTC Touch Diamond2 and Touch Pro2

HTC has just gone and announced updates to their ever-popular handsets, the Touch Diamond and Touch Pro. The Touch Diamond2, as you might have guessed, is the new Touch Diamond. It adds a larger display (3.2" WVGA with touch sensitive zoom bar), a new and improved TouchFLO 3D and 5 megapixel camera. All in an updated and refined exterior casing. The Touch Pro2 is the real attention grabber. The Touch Pro2 is a mash-up of the TyTN II, the Touch HD, and the Touch Pro. It will include a tilting screen, 3.6″ WVGA screen, brand new TouchFLO 3D which apparently uses HTC’s Straight Talk which combines all communication into a fluid UI. Both Handsets are due to appear around Q2 in Europe. MWC Nokia Announcements – 6710 Navigator, 6720 Classic, & E55

Nokia have been showing off some new phones at the MWC. We have already heard the N97 will be released in June. They have also made the E75 official and will be the first Nokia offering to come standard with Nokia Messaging. The other phones they announced include: Nokia E55 featuring a “compact QWERTY” keypad and claims it is the world’s thinnest smartphone at 9.9mm. The E55 has aGPS and Nokia Maps support, a claimed 28 days of standby and will go on sale in Western Europe this summer for €265 ($338 USD).   6710 Navigator – A navigation-centric alphanumeric slider with a 5 megapixel camera, Carl Zeiss lens and dual-LED flash. The 6710 Navigator features Nokia Maps with Ovi and comes with the CR-111 car mount in the box for those glorious road trips we’ve all been forced to take at one time or another. €300 ($383 USD) in Q3. 6720 Classic – Essentially the same phone as the 6710 Navigator but in candybar form. LG Arena (KM900) Official Launch Info

We previously blogged about the new LG Arena (KM900) but details we a little sketchy. The only info we had was that it would use a new 3D user interface and features WiFi, A-GPS, HSDPA, a 5.0megapixel camera, DIVX and Dolby technologies. LG have officially announced it at the Mobile World Congress so we have more details and a video! As well as the above features the phone will be 105.9 x 55.3 x 11.95/mm and the screen is WVGA (480×800) capacitive touchscreen, it also has 8GB internal memory and an external MicroSD slot. Nokia N97 available in June

Nokia have officially announced that the new flagship N97 will be available in June. Previously Nokia had quoted a "first half of 2009" timeframe for the device, leaving some to suggest by the time the phone was available it would already be outdated in a fast-moving market. The N97 will sport a 3.5-inch, 16 million colour, 640 pixel wide 16:9 widescreen touch display as well as a QWERTY keyboard.
