Just to confuse things a bit more with the Apple tablet line-up, they have announced the new 10.5-inch iPad Pro, which will replace the 9.7-inch iPad.
While the screen is larger than its predecessor it is only 10mm longer and 5mm wider and 32g heavier, so you hopefully won’t notice the difference in physical dimensions too much.
The larger display means a slight bump in resolution from 2,048 x 1,536 (264 ppi) to 2,224 x 1,668 (264 ppi).
The 10.5 Pro uses a new A10X Fusion chipset; it's a more powerful version of the chip we got in the iPhone 7 and 7 Plus, though it's not clear how much RAM there is inside.
One thing Apple has done right in recent years is increasing storage capacity of their phone sand tablets. The 10.5 Pro gets rid of the 32GB option and now you have 64 / 256 / 512GB.
The front camera has also seen an upgrade from 5MP, f2.2, 720p video to 7MP, f2.2, 1080p video
Thankfully Apple has decided to keep the headphone socket on their iPasds so you don’t have to worry about that yet!
The 10.5 Pro should ship with the latest iOS 10 which offers a range of productivity features aims at tablet users.
No word on pricing, but expect it to be expensive.
