We have already announced the specification leak for the Amazon Kindle Fire and now BGR has also leaked the specification for the Amazon Kindle Fire HD.
The screen resolution will go upto 2560 x 1600-pixel panel. A high-end Snapdragon 800 SoC processor will be used, specifically a quartet of Krait 400 CPUs and a Adreno 330 GPU, possibly running at 2GHz clock speed.
There's should be 2GB of RAM on tap too, along with a choice of 16GB, 32GB or 64GB of storage. You'll get a front-facing camera, and an Amazon-repurposed Android 4.2.2 OS.
Performance benchmarks are said to be up to three times better than the current models, while the new devices are also apparently slimmer and lighter.
As with the Kindle Fire, the price is supposedly remaining the same.
