I have previously reviewed the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro, which I found to be an excellent way to improve your overall activity levels while either working or just relaxing.
That model came with its own desk, allowing you to work off a laptop while cycling. However, if you already have a sit-stand desk, you will likely not need a desk attachment, and the Sit2Go 2-in-1 Fitness Chair may be a superior solution for many.
I will preface this review, highlighting that the Sit2Go 2-in-1 will need a sit-stand desk if you plan to work and cycle. It is kind of obvious from the pictures, but this is not going to fit under a normal table with room to peddle.

For me, the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro is a bit more like a bike that has been modified to a desk bike, while the Sit2Go 2-in-1 is more like a chair with peddles.
The main differences are that Sit2Go 2-in-1 Fitness Chair lacks any form of desk but has a much larger seat with a backrest. The seat is quite important here because the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro has a seat that is very much like an indoor fitness bike. I don’t mind it that much, as I cycle a lot already, but it is quite small and firm, so sitting on it all day long will likely get uncomfortable for many people.
It is worth noting that there is quite a large difference in weight capacity between the two bikes. The Sit2Go is just 99.8kg, so 220lbs or 15 stones and 10 pounds. I’m 6ft1 slim athletic and weigh 14st, so anyone larger than me could easily exceed the limit.
The Cycle Desk Bike is rated for 136Kg, which is 21 stone 6lbs or 300lbs.
I am not 100% sure why there is such a large difference, but I suspect it could be due to the backrest.
Set-Up
This required slightly more work to assemble than the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro.
With this, the seat is not fixed in place, so you need to bolt-on the seat pad and the back support. The peddles use a threaded screw on a design similar to normal bikes, whereas the Cycle Desk had pre-fitted pedals.
The wheels were pre-attached with this, you just need to extend out the rear legs, which were quite stiff.
Overall, it took me about 10 minutes to unpack and assemble.
In Use / Height Adjustments / Comfort
I’m 6ft1, and with the seat at the full height, I can peddle comfortably. My legs come a bit past horizontal, so technically not ideal for cycling, but with the low-intensity cycling this is designed for, it won’t be an issue. People that are much taller than me may find that their legs break too far past parallel for comfortable cycling – and if you are much taller than me, the weight capacity is more likely to be an issue.
For reference, the seat heigh adjustable ranges for the two bikes are:
- Sit2Go 2-in-1 – 56.9-80cm
- Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro – 75.2-94.2cm
At its lowest point, it fits under my fixed heigh office desk with my legs not squashing up under the table.
I am already very fit, so just like the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro, this isn’t the sort of thing that I can work up a sweat with. My heart rate doesn’t elevate significantly either. However, sitting at a desk being sedentary for long periods of time is bad for you, and this provides an alternative solution to standing up at a sit-stand desk. If anything, I prefer this to standing, I can sit there doing my work gently peddling as an alternative to fidgeting.
All-day comfort is far superior with this bike compared to the Cycle Desk Bike V9. The seat is much larger with softer padding, and you have the back support. It is not quite as comfortable as a good quality office chair, but it is good enough for all-day use.
Just like the Desk Bike, it has quite a short pedal rotation, so peddling is a usual experience at first. Resistance can go surprisingly high, I have quite a high-power output on a normal bike and favour high resistance with a lower cadence. While I have no problems peddling at the top resistance with this bike, it is not something I could do comfortable while also trying to work. I found that a bit above mid-way works OK for me, just enough resistance to feel it and get my heart rate up a little, but not enough that I am distracted from work by the effort.

The RRP of the Sit2Go 2-in-1 Fitness Chair is £399.99, but Flexispot have sales on a regular basis, and there is no need to pay full RRP. Most recently, the Halloween sale had 10% off.
Amazon currently has it available for £399, too. With Black Friday coming up, I would expect some decent discounts soon.
The base Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro has the same RRP but then £439.99 when you have the desk. Unless you plan to use the desk, I’d say the Sit2Go 2-in-1 is better due to the more comfortable chair.
Competing solutions are relatively poor, but they are all designed to fit under a normal desk, whereas the Sit2Go 2-in-1 needs a much higher sit-stand desk.
Overall
The Sit2Go 2-in-1 is another excellent and innovative product from Flexispot. If you want a desk bike that you plan to use all day at a sit-stand desk then I think this is a far better solution than the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro.
What I liked about the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro, was that I could use it in the evening while watching TV and on my laptop.
I have seen that many people use the Cycle Desk Bike V9 Pro as their main work desk bike, but for me, the two above scenarios are the best way to select which bike is best for you.
