Apple releases 2.2.1 software for the iPhone and iPod Touch

iphone3g3 thumb Apple releases 2.2.1 software for the iPhone and iPod Touch has just pushed out its latest OS, version 2.2.1.

This update contains bug fixes and improvements, including the following:
- Improved general stability of Safari
- Fixed issue where some images saved from Mail do not display correctly in the Camera Roll
- Fixed issue that caused some Lossless (ALAC) audio files to skip during playback []

Unfortunately the update doesn't bring some of the updates a lot of people are waiting for including push notifications
