Sanyo HEC-DR 6100 Therapeutic Massage Chair

by James on August 31, 2007

Ok I am to much of a slob as it is so I don’t need another reason to remain in my chair, but If I owned this chair I don’t think I would ever get up again.

This is the Sanyo HEC-DR 6100 Therapeutic Massage Chair, the most advanced massage chair on the market, featuring the state-of-art detection and massage technology.

Feature include

  • Stiffness Detection Sensor which responds immediately to the body’s requirements
  • Maximum massage head protrusion 160 mm, featuring a new ‘thumb grip’ roller designed to grasp your shoulder muscles and relaxes them like a real hand of a masseuse
  • Air massage attachment for arms or thighs
  • Sole shiatsu heating and undulating over a wide area of expanse
  • Whole body Sensors adjust massage intensity to your body’s needs at every moment
  • Seven Automatic Programmes to conform to your body’s stiffness
  • Eleven Manual Programmes tailored to your desired massage needs
  • Five massage strengths very different – width and speeds to choose from
  • Extra large illuminated Multicolour Control Panel
  • Palm-size Sub-controller
  • Automatic body pressure/shape sensor
  • Memory Function for individual users
  • Repeat! Button that repeats the massage which was just last performed
  • 100% made in Japan
  • 2C medical device

It is available from Sanyo Chair and the website does not quote a price but expect to pay around £5000. Luckily for me it is just out of my price range for a new chair.
