iKettle: World’s First WiFi Kettle

The world’s first WiFi kettle has been announced which will be ideal for the chronically lazy or the obsessed gadget lover.  This kettle allows you to use your mobile to remotely boil your kettle and be alerted when it is boiled. It can also be used as a wake up alarm, waking you up and asking you if you want a brew.

The new kettle can also keep you water warm for a set period of time after boiling and can be set to heat water up to various temperatures including 80 degrees and 95 degrees.

The kettle won’t heat up if there’s no water in place to boil, so you can fall back asleep in comfort knowing that you won’t set the house on fire, even if this does mean that you will then still have to heat up your hot beverage the old fashioned way.
