Sony’s XEL-1 OLED TV has been available over the pond for several months now but it has taken Sony quite a while to release it here in the UK. Not so luckily for us Sony have decided to take the ridiculous price tag from the US and Japan and add a few more quid on.
It the states it is available for $2,499 and Japan ¥200,000 which works out at £1,750 and £1,600 respectively. In the UK it will go for £3,489!!! Double the price are they having a laugh? I know the £ is weak at the moment but that is ludicrous.
